Why are enemies not dropping Goop?
Goop only starts dropping after you unlock the Goop node in the upgrade tree.
Progression guide
Goop is the resource that turns a normal run into long-term progression. You need it for Rebirths, and Rebirths are where your permanent Luck growth starts.

Goop does not drop at the start of the game. You first need to move through the upgrade chain below, then buy the Goop node for 10,000,000 coins.
That price is large enough that rushing Goop too early usually slows you down. It becomes much easier once your zone progress and coin income are already healthy. If you are still short on early resources, claim current Slime RNG codes before another farming run.
After the purchase, a new Goop meter appears on the left side of the screen under your coin total. From that point on, defeated enemies can drop Goop automatically; before the node is unlocked, they cannot drop it at all.

Unlocking Goop only starts the system. The first drop chance is weak, and the chance upgrades unlock one after another. You cannot skip ahead to a later tier, so buy the next available Goop chance node when the cost fits your run instead of saving for a locked upgrade.
The important point is not only that Goop can drop, but that it becomes dependable. The available chance upgrades eventually push the system from a very low base rate up to 85%, which is why they matter so much once you enter the middle and late parts of a run.
| Upgrade | Drop chance | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Goop Drip | 35% | 250M |
| Goop Flood | 45% | 20B |
| Goop Chance | 55% | 4T |
| Goop Chance II | 65% | 500T |
| Goop Chance III | 75% | 75Qd |
| Goop Chance IV | 85% | 10Qn |
Higher zones pay more Goop per kill, but only if you can keep clearing them. A zone where your team keeps dying is worse than a slightly lower zone that runs continuously.
Before using a long-session boost, compare expected time in the Slime RNG calculator so you know whether extra Luck is actually helping your current target.

Rebirth resets coins and zone progress, but keeps your slimes, upgrades, items, and leftover Goop. The payoff is a permanent Luck increase for the next run, so each good Rebirth makes future rare-slime hunts stronger.
The first Rebirth raises base Luck from 1.0x to 1.82x. Later Rebirth gains scale sharply, which is why the system eventually becomes the backbone of rare-slime progression rather than a side mechanic.
Each next Rebirth asks for more Goop. If the next one costs 500, the following one costs 1,000, then 2,000. Rebirthing once at a time means rebuilding your zones again and again before Goop farming becomes efficient.
Because leftover Goop carries over, extra farming is not wasted. Stockpiling enough for several Rebirths reduces total rebuild time and raises your Luck faster over the whole session.
Goop only starts dropping after you unlock the Goop node in the upgrade tree.
No. Rebirth spends only the required amount, and any extra Goop stays for the next run.
Use the highest zone your team can clear consistently without repeated wipes.

Once your Goop loop is stable, use the upgrade guide to rebuild the early tree in the right order on the next cycle.
